Editorial Review:
Product Description: England's The Who are consistently rated as one of the Top Five rock bands of all time. Their visceral anthems of youth and rebellion helped define the rock and roll movement as a sort of protest against middle-class mediocrity and their music attitude and style have had an incalculable effect on popular culture. WHO'S BETTER WHO'S BEST is a compilation of footage - live studio and candid - of the rock band celebrating in 1988 its 25th year in existence.Format: DVD AUDIO Genre: MUSIC DVD/CONCERTS UPC: 602498435144 Manufacturer No: DVDB000792309

Rating: - Great DVD, greater price
A very good classic DVD of just songs, whereas most documentaries have a lot of talking and show 1/2 the song.
The videos from 1981 (Face Dances) are superb in quality and well shot in who's own film studio.
No real complaints, good DVD all way around.

If you enjoy the Who as i do, this video collection is a must have.

I feared it would repeat what is offered in The Kids are Alright video, but that was not the case. This compilation has some very rare videos and that's ... Read More
Rating: - OK
Well, this is fine, but some look really bad with lip singing. Keith Moon shows how crazy he is on this; on Magic bus, he goes like "Hoo Ha!" I would recommend getting Isle of Wight instead.

I have never been a rabid Who fan but have always at least enjoyed their music. And so I picked this up on the spur of the moment at a "special price" when I saw it on a display at a national book and music chain while holiday shopping. As it turns out, I should have ordered it here for a better price, but oh well.
Who's Better, Who's Best is a rather primitive collection of video clips of The Who performing some of their best known songs in various venues at different periods in their career. These ... Read More
